Liner notes

The tune June brought in first: a melody she hummed on the last Metra out of the Loop, waiting for a connection that didn’t come. Theo plays it straight the first time and leans into it the second. The band left the count-off on the tape.

Take 3 of 4, day one. Drums and bass faced each other six feet apart with no baffles. The Rhodes went through a borrowed Fender Twin miked at the grille.
